WHAT IS A CERAMIC COATING?
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that is applied to the exterior surfaces of a vehicle and cures to form a durable layer of protection over the paintwork. Unlike traditional waxes or sealants, a ceramic coating bonds with the surface and is designed to provide long lasting protection rather than simply sitting on top for a short period of time.
One of the biggest benefits is its water and dirt repelling properties. Water beads and runs off more easily, taking loose dirt with it and making the vehicle easier to wash and maintain. This also helps reduce the amount of grime that sticks to the paint between washes.
Ceramic coatings also provide protection against UV exposure, oxidation, road grime, bird droppings, tree sap and other environmental contaminants that can gradually damage or dull the paintwork.
The coating enhances the appearance of the vehicle too, adding depth, gloss and a noticeably slick finish. When properly maintained, it helps keep the paintwork looking cleaner, glossier and easier to care for over the long term.
